Back in November 2010, I photographed DJ Premier at his studio in New York City, as well as an interview for Aol’s TheBoombox, which you can watch online here. It was a great shoot — he’s such an inspiration, so talented, and on top of it all, a really wonderful person.

We documented Jim Jones giving out his new mixtape “The Ghost of Rich Porter” around Harlem. He’s such an awesome guy - the day didn’t go exactly as planned, but he was totally cool about everything and we all kept laughing about how true the following is: patience is a virtue :)
