[ One Direction | Photos by DianaLevine.com ] Yesterday, I photographed One Direction for Billboard, as a “Day in the Life” piece. You can check out the full gallery here on Billboard. The entire day was so much fun. I documented them on the day of their album release for Up All Night. I love shooting a band on the day of their album release, because it’s such a celebration, and it feels a little bit like being part of music history. There were literally thousands of screaming fans filling all 4 floors of the mall — the girls LOVE them!! And after spending the day with them, I can see why - they are such funny, kind, and sincere guys, and they truly deserve all of the success that’s happening for them.

Last week, I photographed the legendary Paul Van Dyk for Billboard. Check out the article online here. I stuck around to listen to writer Josh Bennett interview him, and it was really fascinating to hear Paul’s stories and responses. His love of music truly shines through his words and his eyes. His new album “Evolution” is coming out March 20, 2012.
[ Day in the Life: B.o.B for Billboard.com | Photos by Diana Levine http://www.dianalevine.com ] Yesterday, I photographed a “Day in the Life” of B.o.b for Billboard. We had a really fun day, going to Hot 97 with Angie Martinez, driving around the city, and hanging out backstage and sound-checking before his Bowery Ballroom show. Such a fun and sweet person to photograph. Some of his songs you probably know are Airplanes, Nothin’ On You (feat. Bruno Mars), Magic (feat. Rivers Cuomo) among many more.
